"Punk" Nutter, 94 of Alfred, Maine died February 25, 2002 at The Viking Nursing Home, Cape Elizabeth, Maine.He was born in Alfred Maine on February 20, 1908, he was the son of George and Ann Roberts Nutter and attended schools there.Mr. Nutter was well known for "Nutter's Corn" in Alfred. He was one of the 1st dairy farmers in Alfred, and sold milk to Oakhurst Dairy.He was a member of The York County Agricultural Extension Service.Punk enjoyed his CB radio, and he would be remembered by his handle "Chainsaw".Mr. Nutter is survived by his daughters Frances Kimball of Wells, Maine, and Catherine Karcher of Alfred, Maine; also surviving are his grandchildren Martha Kimball, Deborah Hutchinson and Curtis Kimball, and five great grandchildren.He was predeceased by his brother Norman Nutter and his sister Carrie Emmonds.Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Heald Funeral Home 580 Main Street Springvale, Maine where a funeral will follow at 11:00 AM on Wednesday.
