Anthony Attardi

August 9, 1977 ~ May 14, 2022 (age 44)

Anthony N. Attardi was born Tuesday, August 9, 1977 in Massachusetts. Son of the late Catherine Gleason Menkello. Anthony is survived by his father Phillip, of FL, and two brothers, Phillip of Boston, MA and Matthew of Sanford, ME. He was predeceased by a sister, Renee Rosemary Attardi, and by his stepfather, Mark Gordon. He leaves behind his nephew and business partner, Phillip Attardi and his family, from Sanford. Regretfully, Anthony also leaves behind, his beautiful three-year-old daughter, Mayla .

A 1997 graduate of Hull High School, Anthony lived in Hull for many years. He moved to several other locations in MA afterwards including, Holbrook, Weymouth, Scituate, and finally to Sanford. He was an avid sports fan and he loved the Boston Red Sox, Bruins & the New England Pats. He also loved to grill, play pool, listen to music, camp, and watch movies. His overall passion for life was inspirational.

Anthony dedicated his professional work life to the appliance industry, and he could fix anything with his ingenuity! His stepfather, Mark Gordon taught him about appliance repair at a very young age and inspired him to become the great appliance man that he was. He worked for Gordon Appliance, Standard TV & Appliance, Mark's Appliance and then was able to open his own business, Anthony's All-State Appliance. Mr. Attardi was a gifted appliance repairman of more than 30 years. It was not uncommon for Anthony to be considered the "Tom Brady" of appliance men. There simply wasn't anything that Anthony could not fix and was always there to lend a helping hand to everyone!
Anthony had a perfectly infectious smile as well as his memorable laugh. He had an easy-going nature, yet was very hard-working, and he would do anything for anyone. This was just his natural way. In the past three years, however, his glow was even more delightful once his daughter Mayla was born. He quickly became an expert in baby formula ingredients, diaper changing, nap time, and just knowing how to give all of his love. He adored his sweet daughter Mayla!

Anthony was not the type of man who would have wanted anyone to grieve his passing, although that is impossible, because he was such a larger-than-life and amazing man! He will be missed terribly by so many. Rest in peace dear Anthony-- friend, father, brother and uncle to his family who mourns his loss.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, May 28th from 2 to 4PM to Celebrate his Life at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, Maine.
